FRENCH TENNIS FEDERATION OBTAINS ‘GREAT PLACE TO WORK CERTIFICATION’

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has announced that it has obtained the internationally recognised “Great Place To Work” certification and has become the first sports federation in France to do so.
This certification, which is regarded as a global benchmark in the field of workplace culture and quality of working life, follows the implementation by the FFT of a renewed human resources strategy, which was initiated in early 2024 and strengthened with the launch of the FTT internal “Fair-Play” programme.
The aim of this certification is to create a respectful, fair, and supportive working environment through concrete measures addressing key aspects of employee well-being, including risk prevention, work–life balance, internal processes, career development, managerial evolution, and employer branding.
As part of the certification process, all FFT employees were invited to participate in the “Great Place To Work” Trust Index™ survey, which assesses organisational culture across core dimensions, such as management, peer relationships, and the nature of the work itself. The survey is grounded in five foundational values recognised by “Great Place To Work” worldwide as follows:
- credibility;
- respect;
- fairness;
- pride; and
- cmaradierie.
Generally, “Great Place To Work” certification is awarded on the basis of a rigorous methodology, which combines employee feedback and the analysis of internal workplace practices. The evaluation relies primarily on the proprietary Trust Index™, which measures the level of trust in the organisation, the quality of connections amongst colleagues, and overall employee loyalty. Organisations may also provide additional information on their culture and Human Resource strategies through the Culture Audit™ assessment.
For the FFT, this certification marks a meaningful stage in a broader long-term commitment to cultivating a high-quality working environment and supporting the well-being and development of its employees. Its recognition by “Great Place To Work” places the federation amongst organisations that align with internationally established standards of workplace excellence, strengthening its position as an employer of reference within the sports sector.
