SWISS SPORT INTEGRITY TRAVEL ADVISORY

Swiss Sport Integrity has issued the following Advice to athletes:

“If athletes are planning a summer holiday, a training camp or participation in an international competition, Swiss Sport Integrity recommends checking their own travel pharmacy before departure.

Find out in advance about the doping status of the medications and about permitted alternatives.

The relevant information can be found at www.sportintegrity.ch/en/medicine.

Medicinal products are regulated at the national level.

Their active ingredients may differ from one country to another, even if the products have the same or similar names.

When purchasing medication abroad, you should, therefore, always use the medication inquiry service of the respective country.”
