The awards may include orders for the payment of the parties\u2019 legal costs.<\/p>\n<p>An important example of a Rule K arbitration award is the one, issued on 30 November 2023 and published on 14 December 2023, in which the FA faced a legal challenge from several football agencies regarding the implementation of the National Football Agent Regulations (NFAR).\u00a0The agencies claimed that the NFAR, which mirrored\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?sca_esv=faa806e7e2c2d086&amp;cs=0&amp;sxsrf=AE3TifMq2JIuZPFnR2ob8HYlsDCbAslQVg%3A1755345832138&amp;q=FIFA%27s+Football+Agent+Regulations+%28FFAR%29&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwilx4HmpI-PAxVHTUEAHehEGFMQxccNegQIAxAF&amp;mstk=AUtExfBKTTvVoBjf_hCT3RKOSe2djVIY6Cc46BG12We4Tm7amTgc-lUAzeKt51vwMlsDocp5Nqqbtp9jYbc0ONaNdBenN90IKO-u6xqhO2VKV6ecvf83Zxa7x9Tk78bUxqk-Rr8zT3dqK2-E2V3vmnNNZYNLVKI2mHKf2XOSkCidqbasaBU&amp;csui=3\">FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR)<\/a>\u00a0in domestic transfers, infringed the UK Competition Act 1998.\u00a0This challenge was partially upheld in respect of the fee cap and pro-rata payment restrictions in the NFAR.
